OUR MISSION
For the cinema release of Dikkie Dik, we were commissioned to create a trailer that connects directly with its core audience. The brief came through Humdrum, who trusted us to develop a concept that goes beyond traditional promotion and places real audience reaction at the centre of the story.
Instead of staging emotion, we chose to capture it. We brought more than 100 children to the cinema and documented their genuine reactions throughout the experience. This approach allowed us to build a trailer grounded in authenticity, where curiosity, excitement and wonder became the driving narrative.
The material was shaped into a fast-paced, cinematic edit that reflects the energy of the moment. By focusing on real impressions, we created a recognisable emotional entry point that resonates with both children and parents.
The result is a trailer that doesn’t just promote the film, but actively pulls the viewer into its world through lived experience and purposeful storytelling.
